Scecina freezes tuition rates

Scecina Memorial President Joe Therber announced that tuition for 2020-21 would remain unchanged from 2019-20.

“Scecina remains committed to making an excellent Catholic education affordable and accessible for all families,” said President Therber. “We are serving our Catholic mission best when we are in tune with our families’ financial realities. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our families, just as it has touched everyone. We are very sensitive to the possible hardships these unusual circumstances have caused."

Seniors: The deadline to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been extended past the original deadline of April 15.

Go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to file.

Filing the FAFSA is required for any student and family to receive financial assistance to help pay for college during the 2020-21 school year. The state of Indiana has not extended the filing deadline for the FAFSA, even though the income tax filing deadline has been pushed back.

Contact Mr. Josh Orndorff (jorndorff@scecina.org) with questions. Families can also contact InvestED, a local non-profit that assists with the financial aid process, for assistance at
317-715-9007.

New Vaccination Requirement
for 2020-21 School Year

The Indiana Department of Health will require students in all grades to have received two doses of the hepatitis A vaccine. The series requires at least six months between doses. Please ensure that your student is compliant with this requirement for the next school year.
