ICC Conference Champs
The mens swimming team claimed first place and the ICC Conference Champs title—the first time in Scecina history. The ladies delivered a strong performance as well, finishing in fourth place. Way to go, Crusaders!
Eggs-periencing Parenthood
Students in Ms. Mackenzie Meyers’ AP Psychology class explored human development and the impact of parenting styles. As part of the lesson, students participated in an assignment where the "health" of an egg was tied to their grade.

This hands-on activity helped students recall information more effectively by connecting it to a tangible issue. After completing the assignment, they analyzed their "parenting" approach and reflected on which style they aligned with.
An added benefit? They gained insight into the responsibilities of caring for something 24/7.
Q2 Honor Roll and High Honor Roll
Congratulations to the students who have excelled to the level of Scecina's High Honor Roll and Honor Roll for the second quarter!

Please click here for the entire roster.
Final Exam Exemption Policy
Students will again be eligible for Semester 2 Final Exam exemptions if they meet specific criteria:  a minimum of a 93% average for quarters 3 and 4 and specific discipline requirements. Dual cred courses, ACP Chemistry, and courses with final projects are not eligible.
